AUC provides midterm evaluations for every course. There are two options:

  1. The traditional form: students fill in a paper form distributed by the lecturer.
  2. The class representatives system: two students in each class facilitate a discussion with their classmates while the lecturer is not present. After class, the class representatives discuss their main findings and points of improvement with the teacher (see more detailed guidelines below).

It is up to the lecturer and the students to decide which of the two options will apply. In 2017, a smaller pilot with the class representatives system was very positively evaluated by students and lecturers, and as such, it is recommended to go for the this form of feedback. If students and lecturer do not find an agreement, Option 1 is the default.
